The Next 7 Days

Here is what early October is supposed to be: 59 degrees in the morning and 80 degrees in the afternoon. It’s also supposed to be the driest month (3.25″ average). So what’s the deal?

Well it’s the Gulf. We’re stuck in a pattern that has left the door open on Gulf heat and humidity. The last couple of fronts we’ve had hit the Gulf then backed up as warm fronts. The next one, that comes in on Wednesday, will do that as well giving us more rain, heat, and humidity through Saturday.

We should break this pattern on Sunday and looking at the long range forecasts we should return to true autumn weather next week. If you’re like me you can’t wait….

  3. It is annoying to watch your favorite television program the have you people cut in with a wether update. Last week I missed the last five minutes of Family Guy. What happened to the crawler at the bottom of the screen wasn’t that enough? I don’t need to see a talking suit interrupting my prime time viewing.
