We are finishing out the month of January on an unusually mild note ! We are already up into the mid 60′s today, and many areas will see the low 70′s tomorrow. We have recorded 16 days with highs at 70 degrees or warmer this month. Temperatures are running 6.7 degrees above normal. We dont see any cold air in the forecast for the next 10 days. Most of the the U.S. is very warm! Hints of a colder situation around February 11th continue to show up in some long range models.
