Hey Moviegoers!  It’s Marcus Jackson, The FOX 10 / CW 55 Resident Movie Guru.  I guess that the majority of movie seekers went a little quest and found “An Unexpected Journey” to Middle Earth & the Box Office.  The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey was Number 1 in theaters this past weekend bringing in a record setting $84.8 Million Dollars for the month of December.  This was the first installment of an all new trilogy that is the prequel the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  I have to tell you that I have been getting a lot of positive feedback on this film.  I have a dear friend of mine said that she was going to dress up like one of the beautiful female characters from Middle Earth when she go see the movie with friends …. She was a Stunning Resident of Middle Earth … can I move there now?  … Back to The Hobbit.  Check out this link to the trailer and see what’s waiting for you in theaters right now, courtesy of IMDb ……

Now The Hobbit is just one of the many films that have just been nominated for The Golden Globes Awards that are out in theaters right now.  Films like Lincoln with 7 noms, Argo with 5 noms, also Life of Pi, Silver Linings Playbook, Flight, and soon to hit theaters Zero Dark Thirty.  There are two more films that Golden Globes nominees that will battle it out for your Christmas Day viewing after you have opened up all of your gifts Santa and/or his litlle helpers (i.e. – Mom & Dad, your spouse or significant other, etc.) leave for you under the tree ….. Les Miserables & Django Unchained.  Now both of these films are getting HUGE HUGE BUZZ  and they haven’t hit U.S. theaters just yet.  To get you all fired up for these films check out the links I’ve posted to their trailers courtesy of IMDb once again ……
