A ridge of high pressure is responsible for the warm temperatures of the last several days. By Wednesday that ridge will be pushing east out ahead of an approaching cold front. Still warm Wednesday, but that will change for Thursday as the cold front moves in.
The front on Thursday will bring our temps back to the seasonable range; upper 70s in the afternoons and 50s in the mornings.
Another quick-moving front on Saturday will reinforce the pleasant conditions and keep the cool fall air in place through the weekend and into the first part of next rain.
Rain chances stay fairly slim even with the two cold fronts. There will likely only be a few showers with the first front on Thursday and just isolated showers for the system on Saturday.
The tropics are quiet and nothing is expected to form over the next several days.
