Cold Front ComingOctober 16th, 2013 at 5:58 am by Matt Barrentine under FOX10 Stormtracker Weather
One more day of above-average temperatures! After that, a pair of fronts moves through to cool us down to normal (Upper 70s for highs and upper 50s for lows).
The first front will arrive on Thursday morning bringing that first batch of cooler air. Overrunning moisture will be created by warm air lifting up and over the cool air at the surface. That will create drizzles with good coverage, mainly in the afternoon.
A second front will move in on Saturday. Like the first front, overrunning moisture will give us a drizzly day.
Things should clear out for us Sunday leaving us with mostly sunny skies and comfortable temps.
The tropics remain quiet, no worries from that quarter.
