Skies cleared rapidly this morning for the western half of the area. We have mostly sunny skies in Mobile this afternoon. Clouds are lingering from south Baldwin County to the panhandle. A few light sprinkles remain on radar in Okaloosa county. The slow moving frontal boundary over central Florida should track far enough to the east tonight, to allow for clearing throughout the area.
Chilly Nights this Week
A stronger front, the second in a series of three cold fronts, pushes through Wednesday. Much colder air moves in, especially with our overnight lows. Lows will be in the 40’s Wednesday night. A reinforcing front will push through Friday with even more cool air for the weekend.
Lows will range from near 40 along I-10 Friday night, to the mid 30’s and patchy frost for the inland locations.
This front will bring very little cloud cover and no rain. Surface ridging will keep things dry through Sunday. Highs will remain near 70, with lows in the 40’s through the weekend. Skies will be mostly clear.
