Pleasant Fall Breeze
A strong high pressure area (1040mb) over Maine is ridging into the area, creating a significant easterly breeze. This is combining with dry air, and temperatures in the low 70’s, to make things especially pleasant. Skies have been mostly clear. It’s getting dark early! Sunset is 5:02pm.
Look for lows near 54 degrees tonight. Conditions will be about 10 degrees cooler in the inland spots tonight. A high risk of rip currents remains along the beaches.
The easterly breeze continues on Tuesday. A few extra clouds may track across our skies. Temperatures will remain in the mid 70’s for daytime highs. No rain is expected. The high pressure ridge causing the strong east winds, should keep things stable.
A Few Showers
A weak surface front approaches the area on Thursday. Spotty showers are expected ahead of the front. Rain chances are at 40% Wednesday night, and 20% Thursday. We only expect about a .25” of rain in most spots. And, we are not expect thunderstorms or severe weather. Temperatures will be about the same behind the front. Highs in the low 70’s, lows near 50.
