Showers Move InMarch 11th, 2014 at 2:49 pm by Jason Smith under FOX10 Stormtracker Weather
Clouds increased early this morning. Daytime highs were a bit limited near the coast. We saw grey skies and the onshore flow off the cool near shore waters kept things in the mid to upper 60’s. A few passing showers in the early morning made for wet streets in some areas. A broad shield of rain has settled for the evening as an upper low and associated surface reflection is sliding in from the west. More rain is likely tonight as a strong cold front approaches. We do expect showers, but widespread severe weather is not expected with this front.
Clearing & Colder
Skies clear with the passing front on Wednesday, after an isolated shot at an early morning shower. Colder weather moves in starting Wednesday night with lows in the mid 30’s. We will have to look at the possibility of light freezing conditions in the inland locations. Patchy frost is also a possibility, though the wind may be strong enough to keep thicker frost from forming. Thursday will be sunny and chilly with highs near 60. Temps rebound by the end of the week. Scattered showers are possible this weekend with temps back in the low 70’s.
