Weekend ForecastMarch 21st, 2014 at 3:34 pm by Jason Smith under FOX10 Stormtracker Weather
It looks like a pleasant evening for any plans you might have. A surface front near the Ozarks drifts gradually to the s’east, while high pressure keeps us dry just a little bit longer. Clouds will build into the area on your Friday night. We also expect some dense fog to form very late tonight. Temperatures should be fairly mild tonight with low’s in the 50’s.
After some morning dense fog, we turn mostly cloudy on Saturday, while temperatures stay quite warm. It looks like a fine day for the Azalea Trail Run in Mobile. Temperatures will be in the upper 50’s early, rising to near 70 by the end of the race. Daytime highs should be in the mid to upper 70’s. Showers are not expected during the day Saturday.
By Sunday morning, the front gets close enough for us to see some decent rain chances. We have a 60% chance of showers and a few embedded storms as the front slowly drags through the area. The rain should help to lower the pollen count a bit. Isolated rain chances linger into Monday, clearing early Tuesday. More chilly air returns next week on Tuesday and Wednesday.
